Shunga Tanzaku Set – “Iro Shikishi” Replica – 11 Pieces

A replica produced with reference to Iro Shikishi held in the Uragami Sōkyūdō collection.

The format follows the Japanese tradition of the tanzaku—an elongated strip of paper developed as a medium for poetry and calligraphy.
Unlike hanging scrolls or square shikishi boards, it presupposes a private and concise mode of expression.
The reverse side is left blank, allowing for writing.

浦上蒼穹堂蔵『色四季紙』を基に、原作を参照して制作したレプリカ。

形式は、日本文化における短冊。
縦長の紙片に詩歌や書を記すための媒体として発展してきた。
掛軸や色紙とは異なり、私的で簡潔な表現を前提とする。
本プロダクトは裏面を白紙とし、書き込みが可能な仕様としている。
